Fees & Tax Relief

Consultation with Radiography
Endodontic Treatment
Please note that this is the only a guide to treatment costs and an exact fee will be provided to patients at consultation.
Following consultation, if Root Canal Treatment is needed, a deposit of €300 will be required before this treatment appointment can be scheduled. This will go towards the overall cost of treatment.
Review/Clinical audit visits: No charge.

Patients are encouraged to attend review appointments after the treatment is complete to assess the healing response of the treatment carried out. Multiple visits are often required over the first four years to determine a successful treatment outcome.

Cancellation Policy

We try to confirm all appointments by text or telephone the day before the appointment day in order to remind people of their pending appointment. Failure to attend at the appointed time will result in a fee being charged. If no notice is given the fee will be the full cost of the expected treatment as this time will be wasted. If more than 24 hours notice is given there will be no cancellation charge. However if reasonable notice is given within 24 hours of the appointed time and other arrangements can be made the cancellation fee will be significantly reduced.

The nature of root canal treatment is slow and meticulous. Consequently, long appointments (up to 2 hours) are required. If you fail to attend your appointment time, your time slot will not be filled. The high costs of running a dental practice are fixed. The cancellation fee charged is time related.

Payment methods

Full payment is requested at the time of completion of treatment.

Cheque, credit cards and cash are all accepted. Receipts and MED 2 forms are issued after each payment (where applicable).

Any other financial arrangements must be discussed and agreed in advance of the proposed treatment.

The fees quoted do not take into consideration complications.
